Been awhile, life’s been very busy with different things, personal and professional, but landing on the other side of it… Classes start up next week and I will be studying Python Programming II and Database Administration I.

I compared all the Pad Thai restaurants in the county. I’ve discerned which is my favorite, which reminds me most of Southern California, and which is the best deal for the quality of food. Dragon Wagon in Roseburg and arguably has the best all-around deal and the food is so good, and honestly when I asked for extra meat, it was almost too much meat. 7 Seven Thai in Roseburg is the best deal for Pad Thai on Tuesdays when the dish is $10, and with extra chicken, this meal can be split into 3 portions. Hello Thai in Winston is probably the most authentic and the best for a date if you are feeling you want to eat in the restaurant, their ambiance is great, and food and tea delicious.

I’ve set up a new kitchen island space and soon I will be back to making fresh pressed juices again. I was intending to set up a section on this website for the aesthetics of juice-making, recipes, product placement, and I’m almost there. I’m thinking I will probably launch a post with something related to juice making, mead brewing, and jerky roasting as main food-passions with these cool tools I have at home when I am back into following recipes again.

Been doing a ton of research into legislation in the State of Oregon and the State of New Mexico related to funding graduate school education and it largely seems contingent on schools applying for funds they can disperse to students, but the conditions are somewhat unclear, and potentially highly competitive, and I would likely already be admitted into a program before being eligible. I’m not sure. Taking it slow for now and looking at maybe starting in Fall 2026 after completing the Expert Systems program at Umpqua Community College ends…

I have a yoga teacher training program through Breathe for Change I am looking at starting relatively soon; maybe in October considering some things outside my control with scheduling right now, otherwise it would be June through July, 4 hours every Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday… Which honestly just seems grossly impossible to entertain at the moment anyway, so most likely going to wait to start ’till October and doing it once a month for 6 months or every Monday for 2 hours for 6 months. We’ll see.

I need to clean up some of my research papers and then I will add those to this site as well. Main interests have been in the broad scope of the science of teaching and learning, biases and prejudices, natural language processing, and general technology education.
